They also wanted to consolidate their administrative operations, which would be a separate tenant. The result was a new building at the corner of the site that is 15,300 square feet (8,300 first floor vascular center and 7,000 second floor administration).<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style Room\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl>\n\t\t\t<br style='clear: both' \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p><strong>Design problem:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The design team was presented with the task of creating a multi-tenant building on a tight, sunken lot. Each tenant required separation from one another, as well as access to the adjacent dialysis center. Given its location, the new construction needed to address the existing dialysis center while simultaneously blending in with the streetscape.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Design Solution:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Due to site constraints, we chose to build 2 stories up against an existing corner retaining wall. Taking advantage of the topography, two \u201cfront\u201d facades were created so each tenant would have it\u2019s own presence. One was double height and faced the existing dialysis center across the parking lot.
